Post Bath Snuggles

Fresh out of the tub, snuggly and silly as ever.
I love those two. So. Much.

Happy 5th Anniversary Love!

On the 24th of May we celebrated out 5th wedding anniversary!
Most definitely still surreal, and I love it. :) That man of mine had my heart long before the day we were married, but since that day we promised to give everything we had to each other, our love has only grown. It's been tested and I think we've come out stronger. Adam, you have my whole heart!

These pictures are from our date that night, we enjoyed some shopping (that ended in a laughing fest at H&M while Adam tried on fitted shirts out in the open that were way too small to even button, and we didn't buy a thing. haha!) and then a delicious dinner of Vietnamese. We got little fortune cookies at the end of the night, and I loved what mine said,
"If you wish to see the best in others, show the best of yourself."
I can't help but apply that to our marriage. Neither one of us is perfect, but as we do our best to be our best for the other, we both become better from it and we both see each other in a better light! So grateful for a man that always looks for the good in me. I'm one lucky girl.

Celeste's Weekend Visit

A few weeks ago Celeste came for a weekend visit down from BYUI! We LOVE having that girl in town. :) That first picture is of Brooks anxiously waiting for his Aunt "Se-yest" to wake and come up for a German Pancake breakfast. He adores her! After breakfast we spent a fun afternoon at Station Park, with Celeste's sweet friend Nancy who came up from BYU, we love hanging out with those lovelies. :) And after church on Sunday we blew bubbles and made an experimental batch of reeses-marshmallow-toffee bit brownies which we thoroughly enjoyed while watching 'Runaway Bride' late into the night. Sister weekends may be one of my favorite things in the world. We love you Celeste!

The Piano Guys

The day before Mother's Day (these catch-up posts may be out of order, oops;) we went on a date to cash in one of Adam's birthday presents...to see The Piano Guys! They were phenomenal. One pianist and one cellist that make a prime pair of entertainers and musicians. They take classical and modern songs and put their own fantastic spin on them, loved every note! And we ended the night by grabbing some In-N-Out on our way home to the kidlets. Love nights with my sweet Adam. :)

Here is one of my favorite pieces from the night...Alex Boye even made an appearance! You can watch more of The Piano Guys' youtube awesomeness here.

Mother's Day 2013

This past Mother's Day was simple and sweet. The best kind I think. Being with my Brooks and Ava, and their Daddy who is my number one supporter in being a Mom, on a gorgeous Sunday was just what I needed. Along with that delicious brunch Adam made for us. :) It was a good day!

Baking, Temple Square, Cousin's Wedding, and Hiking with Grandma and Grandpa Stum!

Grandma and Grandpa Stum came to town last month and we loved every minute! My  We started Gram-mom's visit last month on a sweet note by baking some brownies. She and Brooks were the designated taste testers. ;)

We headed to Temple Square with Grandma and her dear friend Kayla who made the trip from Washington with her. It was Kayla's first time to Temple Square and it was wonderful watching her soak it up, as she's taking missionary discussions about the church. :) We got a lovely tour by some of the sweetest sister missionaries, made me miss Corrie! My favorite part was when we visited the Christus. It's such a breath taking sculpture of the Savior, and I loved watching Kayla, Brooks, and Ava be right up close.

Thursday we went to my gorgeous cousin's wedding! From the ceremony, to the delicious sunflower cake, to our Grandma Cordelia Anderson's wedding dress being on display, it was a lovely evening. We are so happy for Kirstey and Tyler! They are a beautiful couple with even more beautiful hearts. Welcome to the family Ty!

The last day my parents were here (Dad came the night before the wedding), we went on a gorgeous hike up in the mountains in Centerville. Sadly Adam had to be at work, but the rest of us had a fun after noon exploring, soaking up the fresh air and sun, and my Dad and I even cooled down in the little waterfall. :)
We love and miss you Mom and Dad! SO grateful that you make such an effort to visit us and the other siblings and grandkids. Blessed to be yours. xo
