Naomi over at Rockstar Diaries (love love love her blog) has done this sweet series called Little Letters...and today seemed like a great day for me to write a few myself...while enjoy a glass of this:
I'm more of a milk chocolate kind of girl, but you are DIVINE.
Dear snow,
You are beautiful and I love you. However, I think it's best that we part ways for now...and I'll see you around next Thanksgiving, m'kay?
Dear sweet stranger,
Thank you so much for going out of your way to dry off a cold, wet grocery cart at the store today so my boy's buns didn't get wet :)
Dear cherry tree,
I love that I can see your buds!! Can't wait to see those blossoms...
Dear Fred Armisen and Kristen Wiig,
You are my favorite SNL peeps. Thank you for making Adam and me laugh EVERY.TIME. you perform :)
Dear Orange Leaf,
Thank you for opening the doors to your wonderful business of soft-serve frozen yogurt, just a few blocks away from our home, a lot sooner than expected. (woohoo!) I promise the next time it's sunny out, Brooks and I will be there filling our bowls to the brim :)
Dear creative bloggers out there,
Thank you for your inspiration...keep on postin'! :)
Dear Brooks,
I love you son. Why do you all of the sudden have this crib-phobia?...it's making nap time a bit difficult lately. But I do love that I get to rock you to sleep more often :)
Dear Allrecipes iphone app,
Your meal spinner rocks my world.
Dear slow-cooker chicken stroganoff, garlic french bread, grilled veggies, and strawberry-coconut smoothies,
You are going to make one tasty dinner tonight.
Dear Adam,
Thank you for letting me pretzel my legs around yours every night before we go to sleep. (yes, pretzel is indeed a verb in this case)
xo,
Haley

Haley--I am so sorry! I should have done one post saying: Last Chance to Win Giveaway. My apologies, my mind has been a bit distracted lately. There will be more I promise and with reminders!!! (My) Adam made me the sound track right after we watched The Holiday--we both love it! Sorry again :(
P.S. Such a cute post and great idea! (The little note to Adam made me smile, "pretzel" perfect description.)
I love how you use "pretzel" haha this is so cute! I love it :)
LOVE this idea. It reminds me of Jimmy Fallon's thank you notes every friday!! Have you seen it? SO wonderful.
Oh no! Cribphobia? That's no good. :(
& pretzel-legs are the best best best.
I HEART this POST!!
I have been following your blog for a little while now, and thought I would tell you so I don't feel like such a creeper. I went to school with Adam since Elem. school actually, and saw a link to your blog from someone else we went to school with.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that I really enjoy reading your blog. I like your positive outlook on life, and all your creative crafts and recipes. Your little Brooks is adorable, and actually reminds me of my little 17 month old boy in some ways, I think it's his cheeks :-)
Anyway, I may start commenting here and there now that I have come out of blogger hiding. My blog is mikekira.blogspot.com, but it is private because we adopted both of our children, so I feel the privacy is necessary in our case, but if you want an invite, email me at mikeandkira@yahoo.com. I always invite people when I look at their blog, so they don't feel like I'm SO random, even though, I kind of am ;-)
Hey Girlie,
It's Velenti. I have a question for you about how you post your pics. I don't have your email...mine is
lindquistgang@q.com
THANKS!
