Catching some ZZZZZs...and an Easter egg-osaurus??

Cannot sleep...nope, not a wink.

Our plan for tonight was to dye Easter Eggs :)
We had dinner, then started boiling the eggs & getting our decorating supplies ready...
...but I got an unexpected call, a VERY pleasant surprise, from one of my college roommates, Miss Kersie Babb :) We talked & laughed...and talked & laughed some more...
Loved every second of it!
...especially because my sweetheart, Adam, was talking with us half the time :)
I tell ya, he gives the greatest advice...
Welp, Adam was so considerate to let me finish the phone call with Kers...but as we all
know (at least us chit-chatty girls), time seems to slip by oh-so sneakily when
there's some good catching up to do on a phone call with a girlfriend.
After I hung up, I looked over to see this:

* my prince charming...drooling, I mean dreaming, yea dreaming ;) heehee *
(he's cutest thing I ever lied eyes on)

Since adam was catching some ZZZZZ's...and he needs to sleep cause we're driving down to St. George tomorrow morning (actually, in about 6 hours from now...i should probably be following his lead, but i can't...like i said, i just can't sleep.)...so I went solo on the egg endeavor. But when I took the eggs out of the pan, there was an...an....
eggosaurus.
He, i mean it was just so cute!  I couldn't resist...

i LOVE dying easter eggs!!  honestly, i haven't done it in a couple years...so it brought back some sweet, sweet memories of home in Vancouver (adam is still sound asleep at this point, and it's our good buddy John Mayer who's keeping me company...can't get enough of his music;)  The bright colors of the dyes, the endless options of how you'll decorate your eggs, and of course the occasional mystery (if you decide to be daring with your egg-dying) of how it'll turn out once you take it out of the pungent smelling vinegar (or for me this time, lemon juice)
Here are the final products...I'm enjoying their bright colors while I can, because soon they'll become delectable egg-salad sandwiches for our drive tomorrow (oops, today!)...

*yawn*

My eyes are actually getting a little on the heavy side, and my fingers are progressively getting slower on this keyboard...better get my Sleeping Handsome (instead of Sleeping Beauty;) off the couch and into bed...mmmmm, snuggling with my better half is sounding quite wonderful right about now...

Happy Easter to all...
and to all, a good night!
