"My Burden Was Made Light"

When Adam and I first saw this video (one of many our church puts out) a few months ago we were deeply touched, to say the least.
And watching it again today brought back the same feelings. A man named Chris Williams tells his story of how he was able to forgive a teenage drunk driver who killed his wife (pregnant at the time) and two of his children in a car accident. It makes me cry every time...tears of sadness and tears that come from being inspired by a man who chose to follow in Christ's footsteps and forgive.

It may be kind of lengthy...but if you're like me and you love being inspired to be better, and seek to be uplifted in seeing the Savior's love work in peoples' lives, than you'll watch it and at the end wish it was longer :)

Hope everyone had a beautiful, rejuvenating Sunday...here's to a new, fresh week!

I watched this video a couple months ago and was so TOUCHED that not only did this man choose to forgive the kid who tore his world apart, but he actually stays in contact with him! Such a great example of someone who is striving to emulate Christ! Thanks for posting this, love!

Thanks for sharing this! But from now on, I think I will have to make sure I have a stash of tissues nearby before reading your blog. :)
