I am well aware that I just wrote a letter to my almost-one-year-old son...so it may seem a little hasty to say that I'm baby hungry. But I can't help it! My motherly heart is loving my sweet Brooks right now...his adorable baby teeth coming in on-top, the way he pulls at my legs and says "mama-mama" when I'm doing the dishes because he wants me to hold him, his stellar balance when standing all by himself, and his constant grunting. But at the same time I long to be pregnant again...experiencing my baby move inside me, feeling an amazing sense of gratitude to my Heavenly Father for allowing me to help him in the process of Creation, and to feel the anticipation of a new born babe that is half me and half Adam. And let me tell you, these two beautiful ladies below make me even more baby hungry (literally) with their adorable, refreshing, unique ways of documenting their pregnancies! (I think I'm going to do a combination of both of them next time I have a bun in my oven;)
First is Carolee...she is friends with my brother-in-law Ben, I met her when she photographed their wedding reception, and now I'm so glad that we're blogger friends! She is a fantastic photographer! I can't get over her creativity in how she chose to capture her sweet belly as it grows, AND the growth of her babe inside.
As you can see, she used fruit as a guide to compare the growth of her baby (info from Baby Center). See why it makes me literally hungry? ;) She also happens to dress her belly beyond beautifully :) Go HERE to see other updates of her baby belly...and check out the rest of her lovely blog!
{ 17 weeks...her baby is the size of a turnip }
And then there's my blogger friend Chelsea over at Us Three Birds. She is a mama to a stud-muffin of a little man, Conrad :) And she's pregnant with their 2nd babe. Chelsea is such an amazing woman, who along with having a way with words, is an awesome photographer, and a super-mom!! :) She's done a sweet combination of a letter (which you know I love) to her unborn babe and a fun picture update of her growing belly. (My pictures are pretty small, so click on them to get them larger and read the letters, they are so so sweet:) See her latest baby bump update HERE! And check out the rest of her blog for a few laughs, lots of uplifting words, and plenty of style.
Both of these ladies were so sweet to let me use their photos :) I just had to share my baby bump love!!!

You're so sweet! Maybe it's the fact that I've had a crappy morning and my head is pounding and I'm hormonal and need a nap, BUT your little blog put a tear in my eye!
;) Thanks friend.

oh my goodness so many great links :)going to check them out!
I always said when I get pregnant I will do the fruit documentation that Carolee did, that is beautiful! And I'm no stranger to Chelsea, that woman is amazing. I'm glad you shared these, if I wasn't baby hungry before I am now.
thats really cute!
My mom kept a script like journal of all our crazy little kid stories and things we said, did that made her laugh or cry or just beam at her little babies..
she typed them and handed them out to us big kids last christmas and I LOVE them!
oh haley.
i was already baby hungry. and now, looks like the hubs will be coming home early tonight ;) on a serious note, i am thrilled for the day when i get to be a momma. you used such beautiful words in describing your pregnancy of brooks. how blessed are we to have amazing husbands and a personal savior who love us unconditionally!?!

Thanks for sharing these great blogs.
I feel like I need to save this post on my computer somewhere so that I have inspiration down the road. I love the fruit comparison AND the letter idea. I agree, a combination would be amazing. I would love to look back now and see my mom when she was glowing and pregnant with my twin sister and myself and have letters filled with her feelings at the time. So cute and thanks for sharing!
