Nutella & Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls

Nutella will forever make me nostalgic...thinking about when my sisters and I would get one of those magical little tubs of chocolate goodness on our birthdays. And eating it right out of the container. I honestly don't remember eating it with anything when I was little. HA! But now I know Nutella (a delicious chocolate hazelnut spread) is fantastic with strawberries, bananas, pretzels, toast, crepes...and now crescent rolls. I first saw this sweet idea here...but I thought I'd add a couple little twists :)

Nutella & Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls
Yields: 16 rolls

2 pkg. crescent rolls
13 oz. container Nutella (hazelnut spread; found near the peanut butter)
1 – 8oz. container whipped cream cheese (optional)
1lb. container strawberries (optional)
powdered sugar
parchment paper (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cover baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay out a crescent roll triangle, and spread a spoonful of whipped cream cheese on about half of the triangle (making sure to not take it all the way to the edges). Drop a spoonful of Nutella in the middle, then wrap it up. Place these on the baking sheet (8 rolls shouls fit). Bake for 9 minutes (or until golden). While baking, slice strawberries. Upon taking the rolls out of the oven, place on serving dishes. Sprinkle powdered sugar over rolls and add strawberries to plate. Serve immediately. ENJOY! ☺

What's your favorite thing to eat with Nutella??

this is a combo of like my three favorite things ever. i am a firm believer that anything tastes good tucked inside the buttery, flaky perfection that is a crescent roll.

oh yummy! that looks so good. seriously, i've JUST started baking with nutella and idk what's taken me so long. My favorite thing to eat nutella with by far is crepes with some bananas, whipped cream, and toasted almonds. YUM! I will definitely have to try these crescents rolls tho--they look so heavenly and easy to make!
