every little miracle

Whether you're a mom, a mom-to-be, or someone who is in awe of the miracle of a new born babe (or all 3 like me:) watch this video. Actually, it's a commercial, and a fantastic one at that. The music, the images, the message...gets me teary-eyed every. time.

Today we are going in for our 20-week ultrasound (in just 3 hours actually!!). I'm like a kid at Christmas with every ultrasound. But this one is the best. It's extensive, and Adam and I get to spend a long time looking at our growing baby while the doctor checks everything out. We're not going to find ou this babe's sex, so when they start looking for the goods (or the lack there of;) we'll just look away. We did it with Brooks too, and we love it this way.
March is going to hold lots of sweet surprises for us!!

Spiritual Health:
(Starting my challenge to read the entire Book of Mormon by Christmas...5 chapters a day)
"...I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them." -- Nephi 3:7

Physical Health:
Adam's day off...we're both just relaxing :)

I love this commercial! I get teary eyed every time I see it.

Have a great ultrasound! I had mine last week and it was so much fun seeing the babe! I have another one next week Wednesday because they need to check some other things out. And good for you for not finding out!! I am not that strong. We did find out we're having a boy. So we are going to have a boy and a girl. So maybe next pregnancy it will be easier not to find out what it is!

That is one of my most favorite commercials ever! I always always get teary eyed when it comes on, and watching it on your blog was no exception! So touching and TRUE!

Have a wonderful time today at that very special "visit" with baby! I admire your willpower at being able to turn away from the "goods" reveal...you guys are awesome! YAY for a big surprise in a few short months!!!! :D

That video gets me teary-eyed every time! Thanks for sharing. And I can't believe that you're 20 weeks already! Holy cow if you have this baby before I even see you pregnant then I'll be seriously disappointed.
Enjoy your day off with your Adam <3

Love that commercial! Makes me want to support pampers even though not a big fan of their diapers. Although I did love their newborn swaddlers.

We are going to have to look away at the sex in our ultra sound because I will get it a few days before Christmas. We plan on having the tech write the sex down and go buy an outfit for a boy and a girl. Then I will give it to a friend and she will wrap whatever the baby is and I will open it in front of my whole family on Christmas eve! I CANNOT wait, and it will kill me to know that I could know before then. For me knowing the sex helps me bond because I can call them by name etc. But I know many people who love to find out at birth. Very exciting, and the most exciting part of all is that your ultra sound shows a perfectly healthy baby!

Girl yes. This commercial started airing right before I gave birth in June and I'd call my husband crying about THE WONDER OF IT ALL every time. Ha!
