I had the same problem with the b&w turning sepia, and a friend commented with this: "Whenever I uploaded a picture that I wanted to use for my header the color white always came out gray once I uploaded to blogger. I submitted my question and they told me to go to my settings on Google+. Scroll down a bit until you see Auto Enhance and click on OFF. This way your pictures wont automatically enhance. Hope this works. It worked for me."
