icecream and splashes

Yesterday was rainy and today is overcast...so I figure I'll post about some sunshiney goodness from last week :)

Last Thursday Brooks and I were lucky enough to spend some fun time with two of the sweetest girls we know...Brooks looooooooooves his Aunt Katie and cousin Kalia! We first dropped by Coldstone and picked up some "like it"s (trust me I was tempted to get a "gotta have it";) That ice-cream ALWAYS hits the spot. Then we headed over to a new splash pad that isn't too far from our house! It took Brooks a little while to find his inner water baby...but once he did he was a riot to watch!! He and Kalia were so cute...goodness I'd love to be a kid again. But being the mom of of the cutest little boy in the world (I'm a little biased;) and watching him play and enjoy all life has to offer is just fine with me too :)
Can't wait to go back and get our splash on once the sun comes back out!

mmmmmmmm I LOVE me some ice cream and splash park. I can't wait until Jude can actually enjoy both! Next summer!
OH and I'm sure it's probably way overdone, but someone made us for a wedding gift a framed family proclamation that has an outside boarder with the proclamation inside and "Our Family" on the outside with a picture of me and Adam at the bottom right. The idea is to add pictures all the way around the outside border of your growing family. That reminds me!--I need to add Jude!
p.s. I think I did a pretty pathetic job of explaining that frame. Sorry if I completely lost you.

IS that the new splash pad at Foxboro? I tried the one at The Gateway and Grant wasn't into it. Maybe I need to try again because Brooks looks like he is having a blast!
I'm going to Skills tonight too, but at 5:30 to the pump class. I usually work out at the rec center but my friend gave me a 3 day pass to Skills so I am trying it out tonight. You should come to pump instead :-)
