How is it that I have lived in this area for over 3 years and yesterday was my first visit to the local library?? I don't know...but let me just tell you that I was so excited to text my Mom (an absolute book-lover and the most magical storyteller I know) pictures of Brooks and I at the library :) And I can't wait to have her and Brooks go on a library date when my family comes for New Years...there's nothing like story time with Grandma!
It was my friend Kira who initiated this library visit, and I'm so glad! Our little ones had a great time picking out books, but I think they (or at least Brooks) mostly enjoyed running through the stacks...I may have instigated some of that. He was just too cute and hilarious sneaking around on his fast little feet, playing peek-a-boo around the shelves of books.
A few books were chosen and checked out, can't wait to read them with Little B.
And first kisses were had...sitting in a tree! ;)

Read Moroni 7-10
"But behold, that which is of God inviteth and enticeth to do good continually; wherefore, every thing which inviteth and enticeth to do good, and to love God, and to serve him, is inspired of God." -- Moroni 7:13

Busy day ahead...we'll see if a workout fits it...*sigh*

Such a fun day! I love how you got a picture of me holding "Pirate Girl". What a classic. Haha!
We will have to go back again!
P.S. Let me know if Brooks likes Totoro! :-) It might take a couple times for him to realize how awesome it is.
We LOVE the library! It's one of the few things the government actually does well. They also offer audio books you can check out online and download it onto your device. BEST THING EVER!
